WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for creating and executing a long-term digital strategy supports and enables the organization to achieve or exceed goals and objectives. This individual oversees the team that is responsible for creating and implementing innovative digital marketing strategies and plans for owned, earned, and paid channels (web, email, loyalty, display, social, search, etc.) across all business units to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion. This individual collaborates with key internal stakeholders, groups, and our external agency partners in order to meet the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.  The Director of Digital Marketing fosters an environment of curiosity, encouraging their team to ask questions and understand the “why”.  This individual is creative and innovative and thrives in the ever-changing digital space. The Director of Digital Marketing has ownership of the following areas of focus: digital strategic planning, budget planning and forecasting, digital experience in paid and organic channels, and overall Digital Marketing team accountability.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • End to end management of all digital marketing channels, including paid/organic search marketing, programmatic media, social media, SEO and website marketing strategy with the goal of driving qualified conversions.
  • Accountable for translating business objectives into executable plans with an emphasis on service delivery. 
  • Continual analysis and optimization of both front and back end campaign performance, executing changes based on quantitative, actionable insights.
  • Manage results across the digital team for all digital subchannels, including weekly and monthly results. This includes synthesizing data from multiple sources, analyzing to provide insights and trends and publishing and presenting to leadership via impactful reporting.
  • Work with agencies and vendors to implement media plans, manage investment allocations and pacing to achieve results.
  • Establishes the digital’s team vision, mission, and goals as well as provides on-going feedback, coaching, and development to enhance the digital team's performance and capabilities, to facilitate open communication, and to encourage continuous performance improvement.
  • Co-develop talent action plans to ensure sustained engagement, commitment, and motivation of key talent.
  • Executes talent action plans across the team to guarantee key talent for current and future needs by providing operational, functional, and technical leadership.
 
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field 
  • 10-15 years’ experience in marketing with an emphasis on digital tactics and strategies 
  • Proven experience managing outside agencies, vendors, and freelancers  
  • Proven experience managing a team and/ or direct reports 
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deadlines, while continuing to deliver service excellence. 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to multiple groups, both up and down/ internal and external. 
  • Advanced understanding in all areas of the digital landscape, including, but not limited to: web, paid media, analytics, social, email, and content development. 
  • Advanced knowledge of digital platform processes, reporting, measurement, dashboards, and optimization techniques.
  • Proven collaborator with the ability to rally multiple resources to accomplish goals.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Word, and Excel. 
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics; certified in Google Analytics and/ or working towards certification

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
